Martin Fowler is an author, speaker, consultant, and general loud-mouth on software development. He is currently
chief scientist at Thought Works, a global system delivery and consulting firm. Mr. Fowler concentrates on the design
of enterprise software and looks at what makes a good design and what practices are needed to enhance it. He has been
a pioneer of object-oriented technology, refactoring, patterns, agile methodologies, domain modeling, the Unified
Modeling Language, and extreme programming. He is the author of five books on software development, which have

Chris Fralic is a partner at First Round Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm with offices in Philadelphia, San
Francisco, and New York. Mr. Fralic has more than 23 years of technology industry experience, with significant
Internet business development roles since 1996. Before joining First Round in 2006, he was vice president of business
development at social bookmarking and tagging company del.icio.us through the Yahoo! acquisition. Mr. Fralic was
also one of the early employees and vice president of business development at Half.com starting in 1999, and after the
company was acquired by eBay, he served six years there in a variety of entertainment, business development, and
media roles. He earned his BS degree in finance from Villanova University and his MBA from St. Joseph’s University
in Philadelphia.

Bruce Francis is responsible for helping to define and shape salesforce.com’s strategic direction worldwide. Over
the past three years, Mr. Francis has driven the successful introduction of several new versions of the company’s
industry-leading services; helped manage the successful integration of salesforce.com’s first two acquisitions, Sendia
and Kieden; and assisted the company in broadening its offerings beyond its award-winning CRM applications to
innovative new areas, such as the AppExchange, the Salesforce on-demand platform and Apex programming language.
Before joining salesforce.com, Mr. Francis served as a media training consultant for some of the largest technology
companies worldwide, including Apple, Cisco, Computer Associates, and Xerox. He also served 20 years with some
of the world’s leading news networks, including CNN Financial News, where he was an anchor for several programs,
and senior correspondent for CNN’s Moneyline. Earlier he was an editor, reporter, and anchor for CNBC, MSNBC, the
Financial News Network, and NHK in Tokyo.
lisa Frazier

Lisa Frazier, in her role as a partner at McKinsey & Company, focuses on serving media and entertainment
companies—in particular several of the leading broadcast and cable TV, online, and information companies—on a
variety of issues, in particular growth, strategy, and marketing and sales. She most recently led an effort to define the
TV advanced advertising opportunity on behalf of an industry consortium. She also leads McKinsey’s West Coast
media and entertainment efforts. Before joining McKinsey, Ms. Frazier served as a senior marketing account executive
for Akzo Nobel. She also held senior operation and engineering positions with Mobil Oil Corp. She holds a B.Sc. in
chemical engineering from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and an MBA in strategy, marketing, and finance
from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
