Brad Garlinghouse is responsible for several of Yahoo’s most visible and critical businesses that enable the Yahoo!
community to communicate and collaborate. He and his team are also leading the strategic vision for social efforts
across Yahoo! Mr. Garlinghouse leads Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Groups, Flickr, and Zimbra. During
his tenure at Yahoo!, he also oversaw the primary starting points to the Yahoo! Network: Yahoo.com and My Yahoo!
Mr. Garlinghouse joined Yahoo! in 2003 as vice president of communications products. He previously served as
CEO of Dialpad Communications, one of the world’s largest providers of PC-based telecommunications services.
Earlier in his career, he led venture capital investments in software, communications, and Internet-based businesses
at @Ventures. He also gained experience in product and marketing leadership positions at @Home Network and
SBC Communications. Mr. Garlinghouse earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Kansas
and an MBA from Harvard University.
KershinG Goh
Regional Director, Americas
Singapore Tourism Board (STB)
Kershing Goh, who assumed her current role at the STB in 2007, oversees the operations and in-market activities in
the U.S., Canada, and Central America in the New York and Los Angeles regional offices. Ms. Goh leads her team
in tapping on the potential of various segments to achieve positive growth in visitor arrivals from these markets.
She also spearheads the development of the Business Travel, Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions
(BTMICE) segment in these markets. Before assuming this role, Ms. Goh was area director, Eastern U.S. and South
Americas, overseeing the STB New York office since 2005. Earlier she served some ten years at STB headquarters
in communications, marketing, and product development roles. In her portfolio is the development of the award-winning Chinatown Heritage Center. She also earned a STB Long Service award. Before joining the STB, Ms. Goh was
with Television Corp. Singapore (now Mediacorp) as a broadcast journalist specializing in tourism.

Lev Gonick has been teaching, working, and living on the Net since 1987. In addition to his roles at Case Western
Reserve, he is co-chair of the CIO Executive Council’s higher education committee. He is also the founder of
OneCommunity, the award-winning project to create a connected community throughout Northeast Ohio through
high-speed wired and wireless network connectivity. He is the chairperson of the New Media Consortium’s New
Horizon Project, which provides an annual environmental scan of new technologies and their potential impact on
the academy. In 2007, he and Case Western Reserve were recognized with a Computer World Laureate for launching
the Cleveland 2.0 project to leverage technology to address community priorities. In 2006, he was recognized by
Computer World as a Premier 100 IT leader and honored by CIO magazine with a CIO 100 award. He also serves on
the board of the National LambdaRail, the nation’s next-generation advanced networking research effort.
Marcia Goodstein

Idealab
Marcia Goodstein founded Idealab with Bill Gross in 1996 and since that time has been instrumental in the creation
and development of dozens of Idealab network companies in industries ranging from clean technologies and robotics
to search technologies and Internet retail. Ms. Goodstein currently serves as Idealab’s COO and president and is also a
director of numerous companies, including eSolar, EI Solutions, Evolution Robotics, Evolution Robotics Retail, Perfect
Market, Snap Technologies, X1 Technologies, and Internet Brands. Before founding Idealab, Ms. Goodstein worked at
several startup companies and was an early employee of Gemstar Development Corp., where she was responsible for
media licensing for North America, as well as marketing and distribution in South America. Before joining Gemstar,
she worked in a biology lab at the California Institute of Technology. She is a graduate of Pomona College.
