Mark Rolston, an internationally recognized expert on digital media, user interface design, e-commerce, and mobile
applications, is responsible for driving frog’s global creative vision. Working closely with the creative leadership group,
he orchestrates teams of strategists, technologists, designers, information architects, analysts, and others to produce
groundbreaking work for FORTUNE 500® clientele. An early web pioneer, Mr. Rolston founded frog’s Digital Media
Group in 1996, working with clients to leverage emerging technologies and setting the tone for user interface design
and e-commerce platforms. He drove the creation of dell.com, marking the birth of the most profitable website on the
Internet, and crafted the digital experience for i2, Microsoft, SAP, Sun Microsystems, and others. He currently focuses
on the intersection of product, digital, and strategic design, pushing clients to offer truly convergent user experiences.
His client roster has featured many of the world’s largest brands, including Disney, Ford, GE, HP, Microsoft, and
Yahoo!

Linden Lab
Philip Rosedale founded San Francisco-based Linden Lab in 1999, and has led the creation of Second Life from initial
concept to a market-leading virtual world, with a robust economy and a global population. As a pioneer in the virtual
world industry, Mr. Rosedale is actively involved in the strategy, development, and design of Linden Lab’s products,
including the world of Second Life and the Second Life Grid platform. He is known for his entrepreneurial approach
to new technologies, starting a network software company when he was 17. In 1995 he created an innovative Internet
video conferencing product, which was later acquired by RealNetworks, where he became vice president and CTO. In
1999, the advent of consumer broadband and better PC 3D graphics inspired him to leave RealNetworks and found
Linden Lab, pursuing his idea of creating an Internet-scale virtual world. Mr. Rosedale holds a BS degree in physics
from UC San Diego.
sheryl sandberg

Sheryl Sandberg joined Facebook earlier this year in her current role, where she is responsible for the company’s
business operations. She joined Facebook after six years at Google, where she served as vice president of global online
sales and operations. In that role, she built and managed Google’s online sales channels and managed global operations
for Google’s consumer products. Also a leader for the company’s philanthropic efforts, she created the Google Grants
program, which donated more than $240 million dollars of advertising to nonprofits worldwide. The Economist called
her “the unseen driving force behind the creation of Google.org,” Google’s philanthropic arm, where she served as a
founding board member. Before joining Google, Ms. Sandberg was chief of staff for the U.S. Treasury Department,
where she helped lead its work on forgiving debt in the developing world. Earlier she was with McKinsey & Company
and the World Bank.
eric schMidt

Eric Schmidt joined Google from Novell, where he led that company’s strategic planning, management, and
technology development as chairman and CEO. Since coming to Google, Mr. Schmidt has focused on building the
corporate infrastructure needed to maintain Google’s rapid growth as a company and on ensuring that quality remains
high while product development cycle times are kept to a minimum. Along with founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin,
Mr. Schmidt shares responsibility for Google’s day-to-day operations. His Novell experience culminated a
20-year record of achievement as an Internet strategist, entrepreneur, and technology developer. Before his
appointment at Novell, Mr. Schmidt was CTO and corporate executive officer at Sun Microsystems, Inc., where he led
the development of Java. Before joining Sun in 1983, he was a member of the research staff at the Computer Science
Lab at Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), and held positions at Bell Laboratories and Zilog.
