Tae Yoo focuses on driving Cisco’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs through public-private
partnerships. Ms. Yoo directs Cisco’s business, technical, and financial assets for sustainable impact. She uses frequent
stakeholder engagements to seek feedback on sustainability issues and reports on Cisco’s CSR progress annually.
Ms. Yoo’s leadership has helped make Cisco Networking Academy a program recognized globally for its innovative
approach to providing IT skills education to students. Ms. Yoo has also guided the Jordan Education Initiative, which
won praise from the World Economic Forum as “one of the world’s largest successful working models of collaborative
public-private sector partnership in education.” Ms. Yoo has been with Cisco for more than 18 years. She previously
created new markets for the company by co-founding the Business Development Group, where she was responsible for
growing partnerships with other technology companies for joint product and market development. She also provided
leadership to Cisco’s global distribution channels based in Europe.
Chris Topher Young

Chris Young, in his role at RSA, is responsible for strategy, delivery, and the financial performance of the company’s
identity assurance, authentication, and access management products that secure enterprise networks, as well as the
division’s consumer protection offerings. As an expert in topics related to online business and Internet security, Mr.
Young has spoken at numerous industry events. He was most recently vice president of safety and security premium
services for America Online, Inc. (AOL). While at AOL, he launched and managed several services, including AOL®
Passcode and McAfee® VirusScan® Online, among the most successful premium offerings in AOL’s history. Before
joining AOL, Mr. Young founded and was president of Cyveillance, Inc., a firm leveraging search technologies to
help companies manage business risk related to their intellectual property on the Internet. He also served in various
advisory positions with Mercer Management Consulting.
Chris Tiane zu salm

Hubert Burda Media
Christiane zu Salm was appointed a managing board member of Hubert Burda Media, responsible for Crossmedia,
in 2008. In this capacity, she leads Burda’s strategic development and sales of Crossmedia formats and new Internet
and TV business models. Ms. zu Salm continues to serve on the supervisory board of Swiss publisher Ringier Verlag.
She founded the investment company About Change Ventures, which focuses on high-growth media and Internet
concerns, in 2007. From 2001 to 2005, she was CEO of Euvia Media AG as well as founder and co-managing director
of the company’s two subsidiaries, 9Live and sonnenklar TV. She turned the revenue-losing station tm3 into the highly
profitable interactive quiz channel 9Live, then sold the company to ProSiebenSat1 Media AG in 2005. Ms. zu Salm
was managing director of MTV Central Europe from 1998 to 2001. In 1997 she founded merchandising agency Media
Branding GmbH. She started her career with Bertelsmann.
shoshana zuboff

Shoshana Zuboff joined the HBS faculty in 1981 and became one of the school’s first tenured women. Prof. Zuboff’s
most recent book is The Support Economy: Why Corporations Are Failing Individuals and the Next Episode of
Capitalism, considered one of the most significant and provocative business books of the last decade. Prof. Zuboff
is currently completing work on a new book that further develops The Support Economy’s themes. She is also the
author of In the Age of the Smart Machine: The Future of Work and Power (1988), recognized as the definitive study
of information technology in the workplace. In 1993, Prof. Zuboff founded the HBS executive education program
“ODYSSEY: School for the Second Half of Life,” which addressed the issues of transformation and career renewal at
midlife. She is currently completing a new book that will make the ODYSSEY program available to a wide audience.
