Stephanie Czerny is managing director and co-founder of Digital–Life–Design (DLD) at Hubert Burda
Media, a platform investing in Internet companies such as Glam Media and producing the DLD Innovation
Conference. She held various assignments for publisher Hubert Burda to drive the digital shift of the group.
Mrs. Czerny, as a co-founder of the DLD Conference, focuses on developing branding and communications
initiatives. She also holds executive positions in cultural and environmental organizations and is engaged in
various diversity activities.
ANGUS DAVIS
Founder and CEO, Swipley
Angus Davis, entrepreneur, innovator, and education reformer, co-founded Tellme, a technology firm that
grew to more than $100 million in sales and over 300 employees with $238 million in backing from Kleiner
Perkins and Benchmark Capital, and others. In 2007, Microsoft acquired Tellme and Mr. Davis subsequently
guided speech recognition product strategy across Microsoft for two years before leaving in 2009 to explore
new opportunities. Previously, Mr. Davis joined Netscape Communications in 1996, becoming the company’s
youngest employee at age 18. There he worked in the office of the CTO and was later product manager for
Gecko, participated in the AOL/Netscape merger, and helped establish Mozilla.org. Outside of business, Mr.
Davis’ passion is improving K- 12 public education. In 2007, he was appointed by the governor to Rhode Island’s
Board of Regents, where he has led a major expansion of the charter school law and passed regulations to
allow new teacher programs such as Teach For America.
FRED DAVIS

Fred Davis is one of the three founding partners of CODE Advisors. Before forming CODE, Mr. Davis was
a founder of Davis Shapiro Lewit & Hayes, a leading entertainment and new media firm that represented
companies such as MySpace, Spotify, You Tube, Hulu, iLike, Last.FM, Rhapsody, Stardoll, and Buzznet. Mr. Davis
has received the ACLU’s Bill of Rights award and the UJA Music Visionary of the Year award, and was a director
of the 9/11 Fund. He lives in New York City.
RALPH DE LA VEGA
President and CEO, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets, AT&T Inc.
Ralph de la Vega, president and CEO of AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets, leads all consumer marketing,
sales, and customer care for AT&T’s wireless and wired businesses. Before assuming this role in 2008, he held
numerous leadership positions with AT&T and its predecessor companies, including president and CEO, AT&T
Mobility; group president, AT&T Regional Telecommunications and Entertainment; COO, Cingular Wireless;
and president, BellSouth Latin America. Mr. de la Vega is the incoming chairman for the CTIA–The Wireless
Association and is extensively involved in community organizations, including Junior Achievement and Boy
Scouts of America. A native of Cuba, he holds degrees from Florida Atlantic University and Northern Illinois
University, and has completed the University of Virginia’s Executive Program. He is also the author of the just-released book, Obstacles Welcome: Turn Adversity into Advantage in Business and Life.
