Jordan Glazier is president and CEO of Eventful, the leading digital service connecting consumers with
entertainment and local events. More than 15 million entertainment consumers use Eventful every week to
find out what’s happening and decide what to do; Eventful provides the world’s most comprehensive selection
of local event content. The company’s unique “Demand it!” service is a social media platform that empowers
fans to influence the content and location of entertainment and live events. Before joining Eventful as CEO,
Mr. Glazier was the COO of Client Shop, Inc., which was ranked as the fastest-growing privately held company
in San Diego by San Diego Business Journal. Previously, he was the general manager of eBay’s consumer
electronics, computers, and business-to-business units, successfully building and growing each business to
more than $1.5 billion in annual gross merchandise volume. He was also a management consultant with the
Boston Consulting Group in Chicago and ran international business development for GATX Corp.
LINDA GOODSPEED
Vice President, Information Systems, Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA)
Linda Goodspeed, who assumed her current role at NNA in 2008, began her career in engineering with Ford
Motor Co., holding a series of design, development, and vehicle engineering positions from 1984 to 1989.
From 1996 to 2001, she held executive positions at General Electric, including general manager of GE Cooking
Products. She became GE’s range product development manager in 1997 and was then promoted to product
general manager in 1999, where she also became general manager for Six Sigma, managing a team of 160 GE
quality leaders spanning operations nationwide. From 2001 to 2008, she held various executive vice president
roles at Lennox International, including IT, business development, global sourcing, and global supply chain
and engineering councils. Ms. Goodspeed also currently serves as a director of Columbus McKinnon Corp. and
American Electric Power Co., Inc.
JOANNA GORDON
Head, Technology Sector Industries, World Economic Forum
Joanna Gordon, in her role as head of the World Economic Forum’s Information Technology Industries team, is
responsible for managing a community of top industry leaders, knowledge experts, civil society leaders, and
government and public figures in pursuit of changing the state of the world. She is responsible for strategy
and program development for the technology sector. In her role she is overseeing the World Economic Forum’s
projects on the Future of Cloud Computing, ICT and Sustainability, and the Global Information Technology
Report. The World Economic Forum is an independent, international organization incorporated as a Swiss
nonprofit foundation. Members of the organization strive toward a world-class corporate governance system,
where values are important as rules. Its motto is “entrepreneurship in the global public interest.” It asserts that
economic progress without social development is not sustainable, and social development without economic
progress is not feasible.
MARK GORENBERG
Managing Director, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners
Mark Gorenberg joined Hummer Winblad Venture Partners in 1990. He has served as a board member for
startup and public software companies, including AdForce, HomeGrocer, NetDynamics, Omniture, and Scopus
Technologies. Currently, he serves as a director of Aria Systems, Cenzic, Crowd Factory, ontheFRONTIER,
Replay Solutions, and Sonatype. Mr. Gorenberg is also a trustee for Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Corp. and the H. John Heinz III Center for Science, Economics, and The Environment. Before joining Hummer
Winblad Venture Partners, Mr. Gorenberg managed a number of new media areas and was a member of the
original SparcStation I team at Sun Microsystems. He received a BSEE from MIT, an MSEE from the University of
Minnesota, and an MS degree in engineering management from Stanford University.
