GERHARD WATZINGER
Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Business Development, McAfee
Gerhard Watzinger is responsible for guiding McAfee’s global business strategy and development. He has
helped accelerate international expansion and has directed the company through numerous successful
mergers and acquisitions, which have resulted in record revenue growth and increased market share. Before
joining McAfee in 2007, Mr. Watzinger was CEO of SafeBoot Holdings BV, a leading enterprise security software
vendor for data encryption and user authentication. With vast experience in information technology and
global business development, he grew SafeBoot from a small, owner-operated company to an internationally
recognized IT security firm with Fortune 500 customers in more than 70 countries. Before SafeBoot, Mr.
Watzinger was CEO at iGate, where he expanded the company’s outsourcing and offshore businesses to several
thousand employees. His other managerial positions include partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Consulting
Division and managing director for Capgemini International. Mr. Watzinger is a director of Mastech, a publicly
traded IT outsourcing company in Pittsburgh.
MAYNARD WEBB
Chairman and CEO, LiveOps, Inc.
Maynard Webb has 30 years of experience developing and leading high-growth companies. Since joining
LiveOps in 2006, he has helped develop an on-demand contact center platform and led the company to
incredible profitability with double-digit revenue growth year-over-year. Before joining LiveOps, Mr. Webb was
the COO of eBay, where he helped enable revenue growth to more than $4.5 billion in 2005, from $140 million,
and employee growth to more than 12,000, from 250. He has held management and leadership positions
at Gateway, Bay Networks, Quantum Corp., Thomas-Conrad Corp., and IBM. He also serves on the boards of
several successful companies, including Salesforce.com and Admob. Mr. Webb’s contributions and dedication
to improving communities and giving back to social causes can be seen in his creation of the LiveOps
Foundation and the Webb Family Foundation.
DAVID WEIDEN
General Partner, Khosla Ventures
David Weiden is a general partner with Khosla Ventures, where he has an investment focus on Internet
software, services, and communications. He began his career at McCaw Cellular, now part of AT&T, and then
joined Netscape, where he led the Directory and Security Division that offered among the first commercial
products supporting Linux and open source. Later Mr. Weiden led AOL’s Communications, Community, and
Instant Messaging product divisions. He then joined Tellme Networks as senior vice president of marketing
and business development. Using a quantitative framework called Rifle, his team helped grow the company’s
revenue beyond $100 million and to profitability. Mr. Weiden graduated from Harvard University magna
cum laude with highest honors in the special major of organizational behavior and economics, and he took
additional courses in engineering at MIT and NYU.
JEFF WEINER
Chief Executive Officer, LinkedIn Corp.
Jeff Weiner is CEO of LinkedIn, the web’s largest and most powerful network of professionals. Before joining
LinkedIn in 2008, Mr. Weiner was an executive in residence at Accel Partners and Greylock Partners, advising the
leadership teams of the firms’ consumer technology portfolio companies while also working closely with the
partners to evaluate new investment opportunities. Mr. Weiner previously served as executive vice president of
Yahoo’s Network Division, a roughly $3 billion annual revenue business with more than 3,000 employees and
products reaching more than 500 million consumers. In addition to LinkedIn, Mr. Weiner serves on the board
of directors for DonorsChoose.org and Malaria No More. He holds a BS degree in economics from the Wharton
School at the University of Pennsylvania.
